Problem Is Your Body's Overreaction To Allergens

When these allergens arrive, your immune system is like the police leaping into action. To counter these substances, your body release an antibody chemical called histamine which enable your white blood cells to try to attack the allergens. Histamine tries to alert the body that there is a problem by doing things like making your blood vessels expand in an effort to get rid of the allergens, tearing in your eyes, congestion in your nose, making your nerves itchy, inflammation, spasms, and swelling all over your body including your lungs making it harder to breathe, resulting in asthma. And with food allergies, histamine can cause spasmodic vomiting. The purpose is to alert your body to get ready to fight the invaders. This is great when fighting harmful parasites such as viruses and bacteria. But we are not talking about parasites here but instead we are talking about allergens which should be typically harmless. In other words, your body tends to overreact against allergens and unnecessarily sends out histamine chemicals. As a result, your body starts acting up.

Your Body's Response To Allergen Exposure

Both your respiratory system and skin structure go into overdrive. And you get irritable and tired.

Your Respiratory System

  • Chest tightness
  • Coughing
  • Nasal congestion
  • Runny nose
  • Sneezing
  • Sinus Pressure
  • Sinusitis
  • Sore throat
  • Stomach pain
  • Watery and swollen eyes
  • Wheezing

Your Skin

  • Eczema
  • Itchy skin
  • Hives
  • Rashes
  • Outbreaks

One of the biggest contributors to seasonal allergies is pollen which is nearly impossible to avoid during spring time. Seasonal allergies can occur in all seasons. Many suffer from allergic rhinitis, or hay fever. Others even have more severe allergic reactions, which can be life threatening, such as inflammation of the trachea and shortness of breath.

Avoiding Allergens Is Extremely Difficult

Allergens are everywhere. Some helpful tips are below.

  • Do outdoor activities when pollen counts are low.
  • Keep windows shut during pollen season.
  • Maintain good air filters in the house.
  • Put clothes in dryer instead of hanging them outside.
  • Only allow pets in house that don’t give your an allergic reaction.
  • Frequently clean your bed sheets and clothes.

Unfortunately you cannot avoid the allergens when you are outside. And even in the house they can creep in. Pharmaceutical drugs such as nasal sprays and decongestants help only some in reducing symptoms. It would be nice to have a better way to minimize and shorten the allergies. Fortunately, that is where essential oils excel at.

Enter Essential Oils

It is astonishing to see how powerful essential oils are against allergies. Allergies happen when your body overreacts and releases histamine, causing inflammation and spasmodic havoc all over your body. What you need is the “ANTI” version of those, the opposite. Something to stop them in their tracks. And that is one of the many areas that essential oils excel at and where your focus should be.

Go With Pure Essential Oils

Not all grades of essential oils are equal. There are many out on the market that are man-made products with heavy chemicals that can cause cancer for they have toxins such as formaldehyde, benzenes, and other chemicals. The best essential oils for skin are the ones that are truly pure, which naturally fight allergies, pollens, and other bad odors. Pure essential oils are truly good for your health and build up your immune system. Naturally, they are the best you can get for your skin. We suggest avoiding any essential oils that are altered by adding synthetic chemicals or other modifications that take away the true properties of a pure essential oil. You want only the best pure essential oils. When buying, always check the label for purity.

The Best Essential Oil Brands

When asking yourself about what is the best brand of essential oils, you should look for the ones that are of the highest quality, tested by GC/MS (Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry) which measures the overall purity of the essential oils, and verified truly as 100% pure. These are the best quality essential oils you can buy. And if people ask themselves which company does this and what is the best brand of essential oils, a few excellent names come to mind (and none of them are MLM):

1) Jade Bloom - The best! You get the highest quality essential oils and blends at the lowest prices. 100% Pure, organic, Non-GMO, pesticide-free, and raw ingredients that are sourced from the most nutritious locations with the richest soils, optimal environments, and purest form of plants growing indigenously world-wide, with rigid controls. You cannot get any better than that. You can also have great sets of essential oils at even better prices. And they have natural products containing essential oils for skin, hair, bath, deodorants, and oral. They also carry a great selection of healthy teas. Moreover, they have free education on essential oils and you earn up to $32 of essential oils and 100% natural products as you complete the courses. You can even start your own business with them which is much better than those confusing MLM ventures. Your business simply makes cash in selling wholesale, or under your own private label, or as an affiliate. Jade's affiliate is the best deal anywhere. While the competition would give you only the first 30 days commission when your client buys, Jade does it different. You earn LIFETIME commissions for both your consumers and wholesale customers. Whether it is months or years or decades, anytime they buy you get the commission, no questions asked. It is free to become an affiliate and easy to join. (Questions on this opportunity? Please feel free to ask us).
2) Simply Earth - Excellent! Very high quality essential oils and blends. On top of that, 13% of profits go to end human trafficking. Can also get kits of essential oils including skin, hair, bath, deodorants, diffusers, monthly recipe boxes, books, and jewelry.
3) Amrita Aromatherapy - Excellent! Also has very high quality essential oils and blends at a slightly higher price along with essential oil bundles, skincare, diffusers, and books.

Regarding the above, we personally like Jade Bloom the best but all three are very good. You cannot go wrong with any of these. They have the best quality essential oils available and the best organic essential oils. As a result, these are a few of the best places to buy essential oils when we take into consideration the purity, the strict protocols, and the high quality oils at a very reasonable price. Their products meet the highest standards, where the quality is constantly GC/MS tested and verified as 100% pure before being bottled.

Two Best Ways To Apply Essential Oils

The two most effective ways to use essential oils is through topical application to the skin or inhalation. With skin, you want to combine essential oils with a carrier oil of your choice. We cover this further in the next section. With inhalation, the 12 olfactory nerves located in your nasal passages are stimulated after 5 minutes of exposure to the aroma of essential oils. These nerves give feedback directly to the brain which becomes influenced 20 minutes after exposure. And after 30 minutes exposure, the chemical constituents in essential oils show up in your your blood stream and the mucosa inside your respiratory system. Different essential oils will send signals to different areas of the brain.

For Skin, You Should Mix Essential Oils With Carrier Oils

There are several good reasons to combine carrier oils with essential oils.

  • First reason: Many essential oils are so potent and strong, diluting them before you apply the oils to your skin is wise. And carrier oils are perfect for this because not only do they dilute but also they have beneficial properties themselves that work hand in hand with essential oils.
  • Second reason: Essential oils are different in that they are not made of fatty acids like your typical carrier oil is. So it is easy for essential oils to evaporate in the air if we are not careful. Also it is very easy for your skin to absorb the oils too quickly. You don’t want either of those situations happening and rather it is better for the skin to absorb the oils gently and slowly. Carrier oils do not quickly evaporate from the skin’s surface and they stick to the skin well. As a result, they protect the essential oils from evaporation and gradually control the absorption of essential oils into the skin.
  • Third reason: Carrier oils are able to retain the essential oil nutrition for much longer than other forms of dilution.
  • Fourth reason: A few of the essential oils have a drying effect even though they are very healthy with valuable vitamins. Especially noted is the excellent tea tree essential oil which is a powerhouse because of its anti-fungal and anti-microbial qualities. Tea tree essential oil does have some drying properties. To combat that, carrier oils help the skin to stay moisturized as a hydrating counter balance.

You can buy one or more carrier oils to combine with your essential oils. They all are good and each have unique benefits. If you wonder which one is the best carrier oil for essential oils, then know that two of them would be Jojoba Carrier Oil and Rosehip Seed Carrier Oil. There are also several others that are excellent too. Check out the video below to see which carrier oils you would like to have in the cabinet to use with essential oils which we will cover next.

As Far As Inhaling, You Can Do It Many Ways

  • Sitting in a bath with a few drops of essential oils.
  • You can apply them under your nose, front of neck, behind the ears, or even the chest area (Don't forget to combined with carrier oils when applying to skin).
  • Simply adding a drop or two on your clothes.
  • Diffusing aromatically (this is the most effective method of inhaling). If you don't have a diffuser then see below.

Diffusers You Can Get

You might wonder how many drops of essential oils you should put in your water diffuser. We need to understand that essential oils are so potent and strong. For example, it takes nearly 10,000 pounds of rose petals to distill one pound of rose essential oil. So you only need a few drops to create essential oil diffuser blends. Most water diffusers carry 100 ml of water, so 10 drops of essential oils is suggested in this article. If your diffuser is larger or smaller, simply adjust the ratios of drops accordingly. Of course, if you want to adjust the strength, just add or subtract a drop or so. Now regarding buying a diffuser:
